It is now one of the most anticipated events of the year and takes place right in Naples, we are talking about Comicon, One of the comic fairs largest in Italy to be held in our city since 28 April at 1 May 2023.

The COMICON – International Pop Culture Festival, has come to its XXIII edition and announced its first novelty for the 2023 edition: the official poster entrusted to Mirka Andolfo, the Italian artist who achieved international success.

Who is Mirka Andolfo

Mirka Andolfo she is an illustrator and writer Neapolitan year 1989, considered one of the most complete and eclectic Italian authors at an international level. She has gotten great success for his series Sacred/Profane, Against nature, Mercy and Sweet Paprika. When she's not working, Mirka Andolfo loves good food, reading comics and sharing pictures of cats and wolves on Facebook, she claims on her official website.

Andolfo has worked with DC Comics since 2015, participating in publications such as Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Bombshells, Teen Titans, Green Arrow, RWBY and Hex Wives (published under the historic Vertigo label). You also created the new series graphically Les Chroniques d'Underork for Éditions Glénat, wrote stories for BOOM! Studios and illustrated issues of the award-winning series Ms. Marvel for Marvel Comics.

Da designer has signed comics for Dynamite and Aspen as well as a few short stories for Vertigo and DC Young Animal and works as cover artist for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Valiant, BOOM! Studios, Aspen, Zenescope. He also worked for Sergio Bonelli Editore drawing a story about Dylan Dog Color Fest in 2015.
