Naples, traffic device visits President of the Republic (May 15)

Il 15 May 2023 it will be a day of particular importance for the city, with the expected visit of President of the Republic. To ensure the smooth running of the event and to respond to safety needs, security measures have been prepared extraordinary measures which will concern vehicular traffic in specific urban areas.

These arrangements aim to minimize any inconvenience and maintain public order during the presidential visit.

Bans from 08:00

From 8:00 until the conclusion of the operational needs:

  1. It will be in place a prohibition of stopping and parking with forced removal along Corso Meridionale, on the Station side, starting from the intersection with Corso Novara up to the Polfer gate (civic n. 7).
  2. It will be suspended parking reserved for non-scheduled public transport (taxi) in Corso Meridionale, adjacent to the Polfer gate.

Bans from 09:30

From 9:30 until the end of the needs:

  1. The will be imposed prohibition of vehicular transit, with the exception of first aid, emergency and law enforcement vehicles, in the following streets:

a) Piazza Enrico de Nicola (from Via Carbonara/Via Poerio to Via Concezio Muzy); b) Via Siniscalchi; c) Via Concezio Muzy; d) Piazza Calenda; e) Via Pietro Colletta.

  1. Will be introduced unique way of circulation in Via Egiziaca in Forcella, heading towards Corso Umberto I.
  2. Vehicles passing through Via Annunziata will be obliged to turn left entering Via Egiziaca in Forcella.

Bans from 00.01

Starting from 00.01 and until the need ceases, the prohibition of stopping and parking with forced removal on both sides of the following streets:

  1. Piazza Enrico de Nicola, along the entire perimeter of Castel Capuano.
  2. Via Siniscalchi, near the former GIP building parking area.
  3. Via Concezio Muzy.
  4. Via Pietro Colletta, in the section between the intersection with Angiporto dei Caserti and Via Concezio Muzy.
