Two gospel music nights at the Acacia Theater in Naples with the Virginia State Gospel Chorale

Il Virginia State Gospel Chorale is one of the most famous gospel choirs known in the world since the 70s. It is made up of young musicians graduated from Virginia University and soloists from other musical backgrounds. Success in Europe explodes since 1992, thanks to the artistic director James Holden. The choir has also received many awards throughout its career, including the last in 2012, at Verizon's How Sweet Sound, and also participated in the American's Got Talent show, thrilling millions of viewers.
The artistic director of the Acacia Theater Francesco Sorrentino affirmed the importance of the performance of the gospel choir in our city: “That of the Virginia State Gospel Chorale is an important presence in the sign of a continuous evolution that the Naples Gospel Festival has been offering for fourteen years.
