The famous director Lina Wertmüller will be celebrated at the San Carlo Theater with a magnificent evening
Il 5 October 2015, Teatro San Carlo of Naples will honor the famous Lina Wertmüller with one extraordinary free evening, open to all citizens.
The event, on the occasion of the twenty years of "Capri, Hollywood International Fil Fest" of which Wertmüller is honorary president, presents a rich program of events, with many musicians and actors, known nationally and internationally, who worked with the Roman director.
The evening will open with the music by Nino Rota and will continue with the screening of the documentary film "Behind the white glasses" signed by Valerio Ruiz that will show unpublished videos, images and songs accompanied by scenes of the direction that the Wertmüller performed at the Massimo Napoletano, and from extraordinary interviews to important personalities from the entertainment world such as Giancarlo Giannini, Marina Cicogna, Sophia Loren, Martin Scorsese, Harvey Keitel, Nastassja Kinski.
A special occasion to honor a true icon of the history of Italian cinema and that has made of Naples is a source of inspiration, bringing the beauty and the treasures of the Neapolitan city around the world.
