On the occasion of the Tour of Italy road safety measures have been planned which include the repaving di Piazza Cavour.
The following traffic rules have been established in this square:
Effective from 13/03/2023 to 18/03/2023
a) he ban convey in central roadway uphill towards the National Museum;
b) one-way suspension driving in the central carriageway downhill in direction via Foria,
allowing transit in two-way traffic;
c) roadway subdivision referred to in point 1b) in two lanes delimited by a continuous center line and flexible delineators (fig. 397 of the CDS);
b) of the carriageway referred to in point:
- the maximum speed limit of 20 km/h;
- overtaking ban.
Effective from 20/03/2023 to 25/03/2023
a) he prohibition of vehicular transit in the central carriageway downhill in direction via Foria;
b) the maximum speed limit of 20 km/h:
- in the carriageway in the central carriageway uphill towards the National Museum;
- in the roadway in the direction of via Foria adjacent to the buildings and via Maria Longo.
Effective from 27/03/2023 to 01/04/2023
1 phase:
- il prohibition of vehicular transit in the roadway in the direction of via Foria adjacent to the buildings and the street
Maria Longo, in the section between the access crossroads to the private garage and the intersection with via
Cathedral;2 phase:
- il prohibition of vehicular transit in the roadway at direction of via Foria adjacent to the buildings and via Maria Longo, in the section between street number 71 and the access crossroad to the private garage;
- direction reversal Maria Longo ramp, in the section between Piazzetta Sant'Andrea
delle Dame and via Maria Longo (side of the “Incurabili” hospital), with a direction of travel in the direction of
the latter;- il prohibition of vehicular transit in via Maria Longo, in the section between Piazza Cavour and the ramp
Maria Longo.
