The Newroz Festival awaits all Neapolitans at the Mostra d'Oltremare!
From 25 to 28 June 2015, the area Soundgarden of the Mostra d'Oltremare will host the "Newroz Festival", The first cultural and musical event with the artistic direction of the 99 Posse.
The event, as part of the project June Youth 2015, will allow you to appreciate the musical performances of Neapolitan, national and international artists and to participate in meetings, initiatives and debates that will color the summer of the city.
Among the numerous personalities that will participate in the festival appear important names like James Senese and Central Naples, Valerio Jovine, Mama Marjas, Rodigan Dj Set and many others.
In particular, the initiative was born as "a moment of affirmation of southern pride", a way for Naples and its citizens to redeem themselves and to scream at all beauty, potential and social vision of a city that has remained silent for too long.
The music, dancing, relaxation, entertainment and speeches of the Newroz represent, therefore, the right tool to claim thecity pride which stands as "a pride that has no nation, but only intertwined territories, communities that walk together. It is a pride that resists nationalism, oppression, continuous and unrestrained repressions, celebrating and dancing the part of the party without”As stated by the organizers.
