In the Night of Tammorra in Naples we will dance and sing on the nights of our popular music!
THESeptember 11 2015, al Round Diaz in Naples, the Night of Tammorra, the festival of music and popular culture that Carlo Faiello, the great Neapolitan composer, has conceived and always curated, this year with the partnership of The Song of Virgil, in order to enhance an important popular tradition.
The Festival will begin concurrently with the historical religious celebrations Piedigrotta Festival, provided for by the September More events program, a very ancient and characteristic event of our city, where even sumptuous banquets and shows were held. It was really hard the party that was born the famous Neapolitan Song Festival. This testifies to the link, in the Neapolitan popular culture, between the sacred and the profane.
This edition will pay homage to the Madonna of Piedigrotta, included in the project conceived by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Naples and financed by the Region "Imago Mundi: Feasts and Saints of the city of Naples ".

The program includes many artists, paranze and choirs with Tammurriata d'Apertura by the frame drummers present.
