Il August 9th, 2021 a Massa di Somma in the province of Naples there is a very interesting event dedicated to the Night of San Lorenzo, entitled "We are made of shooting stars”Organized by the Municipality that invited, through the Councilor with responsibility for public education and entertainment Giuseppina Iorio, also the Neapolitan Amateur Astronomers Union.
UAN will make its own available telescopes to let the public observe the objects of the sky, clouds permitting, and will also propose a conversation that gives the evening its title.
The night of the shooting stars of San Lorenzo, in we will see each other trails of the Perseid swarm, falls on 10 August, but in reality even in the evenings before and after there will be the opportunity to observe them and this year the peak will be between 12 and 13 August.
