At the 2017 European Researchers' Night at the Capodimonte Observatory in Naples, experiments, workshops for children and observations of the sky!

The 29 September 2017 it will also take place in Naples European Researchers' Night with an event also at the Capodimonte Observatory.

The activities will start in the afternoon and will be organized workshops for children to bring them closer and intrigue them into the fascinating world of stars and gods galaxies. They will be carried out guided tours to historical structures, to the MuSA (Museum of Astronomical Instruments) and you can read pages from rare and valuable texts of the Ancient Library.

Moreover, the Capodimonte astronomers will lead a series of interesting interactive and multimedia experiments on the cosmos, while the PONYS - Physics and Optics Naples Young Students - will carry out experiments in optics and physics.

Visitors will also be able to follow the practical lessons of the UAN, Union of Neapolitan Astrophiles, to orient themselves in the mysterious sky of Naples. Following will be the scientific conversations with the experts.

Finally you can visit the dome that houses the telescope from the Observatory's 40 cm with which to observe the night sky, admiring the Luna and its craters, Saturn and its rings.
