In Piazza Plebiscito in Naples appears the work of Jago entitled "Lookdown" which wants to remember the last and the fragile!

The artist Jago this morning, in the early hours of November 5, 2020, has left one of his works of art in Piazza Plebiscito in Naples, as a symbol of this period of emergency and precariousness.

It is a sculpture entitled "Lookdown“, Which recalls the term“ lockdown ”that unfortunately we have come to know well in recent months, and represents a child, plus a newborn precisely, curled up on itself.

As Jago himself explains, the aim is to "look down"(" Look down ", in fact) towards the humblest, the most fragile and remember anyone who is chained in their condition.

It is an invitation to look down, to identify with and to face the heavy problems that afflict our society, like that of poverty which affects especially the weakest.

The work cost € 1 million and Iago is a famous and talented sculptor from Frosinone who is also known for his work "Veiled Son" which is located outside the Church of San Severo fuori le mura alla Sanità.
