The wonderful Royal Palace of Naples in the days of Easter, Easter Monday and the Liberation Day, on April 25, 2022, will be exceptionally open to the public.
You will then have the opportunity to visit this monumental structure located in Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples which was the home of the Spanish viceroys and the Bourbon dynasty and spend these days of celebration in a particular way.
In addition, for the occasion you can visit the Hall of the Throne, which in recent times had been closed to the public due to a maintenance intervention that concerned the lighting and video surveillance systems.
The exhibitions at the Royal Palace of Naples
The exhibitions that you can still visit when you arrive at the Royal Palace of Naples on 17, 18 and 25 April are:
- Dante at the Royal Palace it can be visited in the Historic Apartment and included in the Museum entrance ticket
- Looking beyond - MSF & Magnum: 50 years in the field, between action and testimony organized by Doctors without Borders and open to the public in the courtyard of honor with free access.
- The Time Gallery a permanent exhibition with a special path that will catapult you on a journey through the history of Naples. The exhibition can be visited in the Bourbon Stables.
- World Book Day from April 24th in room XIV of the historic apartment the Rotating Lectern of Maria Carolina of Austria will be exhibited
Furthermore, we remind you that also on May 1st the Palace will be open on the first Sunday of the month and can be visited for free.
