As part of the summer celebrations, the Royal Palace of Naples offers the audience the chance to experience a series of memorable evenings. With the re-proposition of the initiative "A Saturday as a King“, the Royal Palace will extraordinarily open its doors in the evenings of 8, 15 and 22 July, offering a unique opportunity for exploration and discovery.

A King's Saturday: extraordinary evening openings

To the great delight of culture and history enthusiasts, the initiative "A Saturday as a King” provides for an extraordinary opening of Royal Palace of Naples from 20 to 24, with the last admission set for 23. This represents an extension of one hour compared to the previous evening hours. The entrance fee is reduced to 3 euros, of which 1 euro will be used to safeguard the national cultural heritage damaged by calamitous events. Online booking is not necessary for single visitors, while for groups of more than 10 people it is mandatory, with entries scheduled every 20 minutes, exclusively from 20pm to 22pm.

July 15 special event: The Royal Hour

On July 15, in conjunction with the evening opening hours, a special event called "The royal hour“. Reservations will be required through the site CoopCulture to participate in this guided tour. Experts and art historians will lead the participants to discover the watch collection of the Royal Palace of Naples. These precious artifacts, exhibited in theLabel Apartment of the palace, marked the time of ceremonies and court life in the 21.15th and XNUMXth centuries. The visit, lasting one hour, will begin at XNUMX at the foot of the Staircase of Honor.

Historical re-enactment

Another special event will enrich the day of July 15th. In the afternoon, from 16 to 19, theLabel Apartment will host a historical representation entitled “The feasts of Ferdinand II, Bourbon Carnival 1854", edited byAssociation of Historical Re-enactors Period Fantasies. During the event, forty extras in period costumes will accompany visitors on a journey that will culminate in the Salon of Hercules, where moments of culture will take place with songs, music and dances of eighteenth-century songs.
