Lello Arena will play in the new show "Parenti Serpenti" at the Augusteo Theater in Naples under the direction of Luciano Melchionna.
From January 12 2018 The show will be staged at the Augusteo Theater in Naples Serentius relatives with the participation of Lello Arena and with the direction of Luciano Melchionna.
The show, taken freely from the film of the same name by Mario Monicelli, is a glimpse of family life led to exaggeration. The story begins during the Christmas holidays at the home of the grandparents Trieste and Saverio, a character played by Lello Arena and suffering from a slight senile dementia. Everything seems to flow quietly, in the ordinary festive routine until, on Christmas day, grandmother Trieste announces that the two elderly spouses no longer want to live alone, but rejecting the idea of going to live in a hospice, they decide that they will be their children having to choose who, among them four, receiving in exchange the home of the two as an inheritance, will assume the burden of welcoming them into their own home. The announcement will cause arguments and quarrels that will reveal the true face of the relatives, until the smallest and most cruel solution will take over.
