A pleasant guided tour for Easter Monday 2017 on Vesuvius up to the Tirone Forest Reserve!
The April 17 2017 the Vesuvius Nature Association to Explore - AMV Laboratory and Econote organized a guided tour to celebrate the Easter Monday on Vesuvius.
The characteristic trip out of town on Monday in Albis will be in the name of nature, a long but pleasant walk in the open air breathing a breath of oxygen away from the city smog.
The planned route will start from the Rotonda di Torre del Greco, then it will climb up to an altitude of 600 meters above sea level for the excursion in Forest Reserve. From here you will descend along the path that will lead to the Piano delle Ginestre.
During the itinerary the history of Vesuvius, its geological evolution, the trees, shrubs, flowers and animals that populate the park. Participants will have to travel about 5km round trip, interspersing the itinerary with stops and a small snack in conviviality.
The excursion does not include a visit to the Vesuvius Crater, but you can visit it freely if you wish.
Tips for the excursion
You wear a comfortable clothes con cotton t-shirt, long pants and light, windproof sweatshirt, spare t-shirt, sneakers (in any case with the non-smooth sole) and hat. Equip yourself with a camera and bring one packed breakfast, in addition to a towel to sit down.
