Free concerts of jazz, swing, blues, reggae and much more at the Sorrento Peninsula Jazz Festival
On the occasion of the "Sorrento Peninsula Jazz Festival", Villa Fondi De Sangro in Piano di Sorrento twigs 25 al August 29th, 2015 host free concerts of tango, tammurriata, pizzica and swing under the artistic direction of Antonino Esposito and Francesca Maresca.
The artists present will perform in concerts ranging from swing to blues, from reggae to tango, passing through Neapolitan sounds to Italian music of the 50s.
Sorrento Peninsula Jazz Festival Program
The initiative will be inaugurated on Tuesday August 25th at 21 with the live concert of Piero Gallo Quartet with his Italian-style funk and his "mandolin".
The event will proceed on the evening of 26 August, once again at 21, with theItalian Swing Song. Leading the way will be the Italian music of the 50 and international music linked to the evergreen musical horizon, but taken up in this case in a modern key.
I Patrios they will perform the 27 August and will cheer the public with a repertoire of popular music fused with reggae, samba and blues, giving life to new and new sound solutions.
Il August 28th to stage the stage of the festival will be Diego Moreno with its "Tango scugnizzo", fusing purely Neapolitan sounds with those of Argentina.
Finally, the August 29th it will be the turn of the Scaramantika Tour 2015 di Serena Della Monica and Nymphs of Tammorra with dances, serenades and songs all linked to the southern Italian tradition, starting from tammurriata and up to the pinch.
