From Sunday October 24, 2021 the monthly appointments with the historic train Pietrarsa Express, which transports travelers from Naples Central Station to the wonderful Pietrarsa National Railway Museum.

It will be a special trip, back in time, aboard the Centoporte carriages, which will be towed by an E655 double electric locomotive. Once at the museum, travelers can visit the structure and get to know the history of Italian railways.

Pietrarsa Express: the races

The Pietrarsa Express it will connect the Naples station to the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa both in the morning and in the afternoon. Here are the timetables:

Morning: departure from central Naples at 10:15 am, stop at Pietrarsa San Giorgio a Cremano station at 10:29 am, arrival in Portici-Ercolano at 10:32 am. Return journey from Portici-Ercolano station at 11:55 am, stop in Pietrarsa-San Giorgio at 12:01 am, arrival in Naples at 12:23 pm.
Afternoon: departure from central Naples at 14 pm, stop in Pietrarsa-San Giorgio a Cremano at 15 pm, arrival in Portici Ercolano at 14 pm. Return journey from Portici-Ercolano station at 29:14, stop in Pietrarsa-San Giorgio at 32:19, arrival in Naples at 53:19.

By purchasing the ticket to travel on the historic train you will be entitled to free visit to the museum. You can then stroll through the property's seven pavilions and admire the historic locomotives and the collection of 55 historic rolling stock. The next appointment will be on 14 November 2021.

Those who make only one round trip or for the route that goes from Portici-Ercolano to Pietrarsa-San Giorgio a Cremano and vice versa, will receive a 50% discount on the costs indicated, excluding admission to the Museum.
