"Planta, the garden and more" returns to the Botanical Garden of Naples, a market exhibition of wild and cultivated plants, botanical rarities and exotic essences, with free admission!
Back in the splendid setting ofBotanical Garden of Naples the second edition of the event Planta, the garden and beyond, a market exhibition of spontaneous and cultivated plants, botanical rarities and exotic essences.
The unmissable fair dedicated to all lovers of the "green thumb" but also to those who wish to discover the world of plants and gardening, will be held next weekend, from 2 to 4 May 2014. The aim of the event is to contribute to the dissemination of the culture of green in the urban area.
Entrance to the Botanical Garden will be free, and here you can admire the marvelous compositions of plants and flowers arranged on the stands, where you can also buy, the exhibitions of handicrafts and those of food products of natural origin, in a dense event programi, thematic workshops and seminars accompanied by musical performances and entertainment shows that will be held in the courtyard of the castle of the Botanical Garden.
Event attendees will also be able to follow workshops, as the Gardening Laboratory, where adults and children can learn how to sow, cultivate and reproduce their plants with the guidance of technicians from the Botanical Garden, the Nutrition and Digestion Laboratory, Bread Laboratory to discover the secrets of tradition, e Something of you, a small meeting on tea, the plant, history, preparation and tasting.
It will also be possible to participate in Exercises of energetic balance, create particular and unusual compositions with vegetables, discover the alternative uses of fruit and vegetable waste, and participate in the gastronomic itinerary Gazpacho and Paella, the high peasant cuisine in Spain, to learn about gazpacho and Valencian paella.
