Planta 2014 at the Botanical Garden, market exhibition on the world of plants

"Planta, the garden and more" returns to the Botanical Garden of Naples, a market exhibition of wild and cultivated plants, botanical rarities and exotic essences, with free admission!

The second edition of Planta, the garden and beyond , a market exhibition of wild and cultivated plants, botanical rarities and exotic essences, returns to the splendid setting of the Botanical Garden of Naples.

The unmissable fair, dedicated to all lovers of green thumbs and those who wish to discover the world of plants and gardening, will be held next weekend, from May 2nd to 4th, 2014. The aim of the event is to contribute to the diffusion of green culture in urban areas.

Entrance to the Botanical Garden will be free , and here you can admire the wonderful compositions of plants and flowers arranged on the stands, where you can also purchase them, the displays of artisanal products and those of natural food products, in a packed program of events , workshops and thematic seminars accompanied by musical performances and entertainment that will be held inside the courtyard of the Botanical Garden castle.

Event participants will also be able to attend educational workshops , such as the Gardening Workshop , where adults and children can learn how to sow, grow and reproduce their own plants with the guidance of technicians from the Botanical Garden, the Nutrition and Digestion Workshop , the Bread Workshop to discover the secrets of tradition, and Something About Tea , a small meeting on tea, the plant, its history, preparation and tasting.

It will also be possible to participate in energy balancing exercises , create special and unusual compositions with vegetables, discover alternative uses for fruit and vegetable waste , and participate in the Gazpacho and Paella gastronomic itinerary , haute peasant cuisine in Spain , to learn about gazpacho and Valencian paella.
