The Pomigliano Jazz 2016 in Campania is music, themed exhibitions, guided tours and artistic performances
In September will host the XXI edition of the Pomigliano Jazz 2016 in some of the most fascinating areas of the Vesuvian area. The project uses different tools to enhance the territory, the artistic beauties, the evocative landscapes and the local food and wine products and, to achieve this goal, it makes use of numerous collaborations.
The Festival, also this year, will combine art, culture and promotion of our land, in addition to music, a fundamental element of the event, there will be listening guides, shows for children, themed exhibitions, artistic performances, guided tours and tourist itineraries.
Thanks to the partnership with Slow Food Vesuvio and Agro Nolano, with the Pro Loco of the Municipalities, with the companies of the agri-food and wine sector and with the territorial associations involved in the initiative, it will be possible to follow a food and wine itinerary to discover the flavors of our Region.
For now we know that one of the most important evenings will be the 10 September with a beautiful concert in an exclusive location: the Gran Cone of Vesuvius. Enzo Avitabile will perform with the double bass player Rino Zurzolo, the Pakistani Ashraf Sharif Khan on the sitar and the guitarist Gianluigi Di Fenza.
The organization of the event was attended by the Vesuvius National Park Authority, the Partenio-Vallo di Lauro Mountain Community, the Archaeological Superintendency of Campania and numerous municipalities: Avella, Ottaviano, Cimitile, Ercolano, Pollena Trocchia, Sant'Anastasia, Terzigno, Sirignano and Pomigliano d'Arco
