This year the lights of joy will be turned on in Bonito with a double celebration: the first Pork Festival and8th Edition of the Christmas Markets. A unique experience that combines the best of culinary tradition with local art and craftsmanship. From the 8 to 10 December 2023, the town is transformed into an enchanting destination where traditions, culture and flavors blend in a magical and engaging atmosphere.

The first pig festival, what the event consists of

For the first time, Bonito introduces the Pork Festival, an event that promises to delight palates with the best traditional local dishes. The 8 9 and December, visitors will have the opportunity to discover and enjoy authentic pork cuisine, with tables set up under covers and warming bonfires. The event, a tribute to the gastronomic traditions of Bonito, takes place in parallel with the celebrations for the Immaculate Conception, adding a touch of warmth and conviviality.

What does the festival menu consist of?

The menu of the Pork Festival it is a real culinary journey. Visitors will be able to savor the fusilli with pork ragù, mixed grill with sausage, cotechino, rib and bacon, and the traditional one Fried Miles, a delight of polenta fried with garlic and bran peppers. There will be no shortage of various drinks and wine at will, guaranteeing a complete tasting of Bonito's specialties, a tasting experience not to be missed.

Christmas markets with crafts and exhibitions

Parallel to the Festival, the Christmas market offers three days of pure wonder. This 8 edition transforms the former Franciscan convent into a glittering showcase of local craftsmanship, art and creativity. From the 8 10 to December, visitors can immerse themselves in a world of unique handcrafted works, discover local artists and artisans, and find that special Christmas gift, all in a festive and welcoming environment.
