The Legambiente initiative, Let's Clean the World, will make the degraded areas of Naples flourish again
From the 25 27 2015 September the environmental initiative will take place We clean the 2015 World, Italian edition of Clean up the World, promoted by Legambiente and assisted by the Municipality of Naples.
In this weekend dedicated to the care and protection of the environment, volunteers, associations, schools and citizens will be committed to clean sea floors, beaches and streams, boschi, degraded and abandoned areas.
This edition will focus on the need for create urban and social gardens, to make a sustainable and collective economy flourish, based on organic products.
In particular in Scampia, the schools of the district will work in the cleaning of the flower beds and will lay the foundations for the realization of the "Mediterranean garden and garden of the five continents and of nonviolence ". In fact, the first "anti-racist fountain" by ABC (Aqua Bene Comune) will also be inaugurated.
Instead, at Capodichino Airport there will be an entire day dedicated to the problem of sustainable mobility, that is, on the possibility of choosing an alternative means of transport to the car. In addition, the cleaning of a green area of the district, an important motorway junction, is planned.
With this project, Legambiente is the spokesman of a message of urban recovery, stimulating the population to practice recycling and recycling.
