Piazzetta Maradona was born in the Spanish Quarters in Naples with the many memorabilia and memories left to our Pibe de Oro!

Another place in Naples will be dedicated to Diego Armando Maradona thanks to a decision of the Municipality. It is about via Emanuele De Deo ai Spanish Neighborhoods, space where, in recent weeks, they have been left many memories or gifts to our Pibe de Oro, also by important personalities and players such as Bruno Conti and Fabio Quagliarella.

It will be called Piazzetta Maradona, as announced by the councilor Alessandra Clemente, also thanks to the collaboration of the inhabitants of the neighborhoods and of the “La Bodega de D10s”.

The Municipality of Naples and the Municipality II, together with Napoli Servizi, have taken greater care of the area by installing poles to create a protected pedestrian path and do not risk ruining the many memorabilia left in memory of Maradona.

Cars, motorcycles and garbage bins have also been moved to make the road more pleasant

Recall that it already is Fuorigrotta stadium bears the name of Maradona, the Cumana station and, in the future, even one metro stop line 6.
