Extraordinary evening openings begin with a ticket to 1 euro in the beautiful Royal Palace of Caserta!
Friday June 23 2017 will begin evening openings extraordinary works of the Royal Palace of Caserta, with admission ticket for only 1 €. The other appointments will be June 29, July 8, 15, 21, 28, August 4 e 2, 9, 16, 17, 22 September.
These are initiatives that fall within the Valuation Plan and will allow everyone to visit the historic apartments of the royal palace in the evening from 19.30 am to 22.30 pm. The appointments will be 12 in total and will last until September. A very interesting project that will give citizens and tourists a better understanding of what the Royal Palace of Caserta has to offer and to make the cultural heritage of the structure accessible to even more people.
We do not yet know the dates of the next appointments, but as soon as they will be announced we will update the article. We remind you that the new City Sightseeing bus from Naples to the Royal Palace of Caserta and that during the year the palace will carry out openings.
Schedule of evening openings
23 June 2017
- The reception staff of the Royal Palace of Caserta will take you through Flash visits, among the rooms starting with particular focuses.
- Sala degli Alabardieri, Apartment of the '700: There will be the focus on the last Queen of the Two Sicilies, Maria Sofia of Bavaria.
- In the Sala dell'Inverno, Apartment of the 700th century, there will be a lighting experiment with augmented reality applied to the painting “Ferdinand IV's Boar Hunt in Calvi”.
- Anteroom of the bedroom of Francesco II: in this 800th century apartment there will be one historical re-enactment and a gala event of the Bourbon court. It will be a storytelling in augmented reality with the lightning designer Francesco Caporto.
- Palatine Chapel: at 20.00 pm there will be a concert by the Youth Orchestra of the City of Caserta.
- Show Terrae Motus: extraordinary opening of the exhibition Terrae Motus by Lucio Amelio.

- At 12.00: "Open the books. Journey into the treasures of the Palatine Library”And the presentation of volumes containing illustrations relating to Exotic Birds.
- Flash visits with the reception and surveillance staff with the following events: "Maria Sofia di Baviera" - Focus on the last Queen of the Two Sicilies in the Hall of the Halberdiers Apartment of the '700 and "Wild boar hunting of Ferdinand IV in Calvi" in the Sala d' Winter '700 apartment with augmented reality.
- The knight tournament, historical re-enactment and gala evening of the Bourbon court, in augmented reality in the Anteroom of the Bedroom of Fancesco II - Apartment of the 800th century
- Musical Marathon of “Cori a Corte” with performances in the Throne Room at 17,30 pm, in the Palatine Chapel at 18,30 pm and 20.00 pm, in the Court Theater at 19,00 pm and 20,30 pm.
- Finissage of the exhibition "The land of flowers" at 19,30 in the Hall of Glory (entrance from the Upper Vestibule)
