Finally on 26 June 2022, thanks to the collaboration between the FS Foundation and the Campania Region with ACaMIR (Campana Mobility Infrastructure and Networks Agency), the Royal Palace Express, or the historical train that connects the station of Naples with Caserta.
You can then travel aboard the marvelous ones vintage convoys and reach the Royal Palace of Caserta, for a special journey to discover the beauties of the area by exploiting what railway tourism is.
The departure times of the Reggia Express
The departure of the Reggia Express from Naples station it will be at 10:00 while the arrival in Caserta is estimated at 10:30, so after about half an hour.
The return train start from Caserta station at 17:00 and the arrival in Naples is expected at 17:30.
Tickets for the Reggia Express
To travel aboard the historic train you will have to buy a ticket. If you decide to buy a return ticket, you can take advantage of one special reduction on the entrance ticket to the Royal Palace of Caserta. In fact, the ticket to visit the complex, namely the Apartments, the Park and the English Garden, will cost you only 10 euros, or 11 euros if you buy online.
Tickets can be purchased on the sales channels Trenitalia, in authorized travel agencies and also on board the train, without any additional cost being applied.
