From Monday 7 June 2021 the new one is active car removal service parked prohibited in Naples with tow trucks that will intervene in all areas of the city. The aim is to remove the cars that park in double rows, if not worse, and also the cars that they stop wildly on pedestrian areas or areas that obstruct the passage of people with disabilities on dedicated parking spaces and slides.
Through the platform AutoReturn, in collaboration with the RTI operators in the area, the service will be managed quickly and efficiently and the intervention of the tow truck will be immediate as the closest possible one will be contacted.
Tow trucks available
The fleet is of 25 tow trucks who work constantly and the service of at least 10 wagons from 9.00 to 20.00 and 4 wagons from 20.00 to 9.00. Any type of car can be removed thanks to these innovative machines and there are currently three operational deposits which will become 7 if needed. In total i 1720 parking spaces are available distributed as follows:
- Via Murelle, 57 (200 stalls)
- Via S. Maria del Pianto (200 stalls)
- Vicoletto San Gennaro of the poor, 28 (70 stalls)
- Via Luigi Volpicella, 84 (100 bays)
- Via Domenico Morelli, 40 (250 stalls)
- Via Terracina, 197 (700 stalls)
- Piazza San Francesco (200 stalls)
How to check if the car has been removed
To find out if your vehicle has been removed from the tow truck, you can call the call center of the Municipal Police Operations Center: 081.7957111. Alternatively, you can insert the license plate on the AutoReturn site where the number to call for more information will be indicated, after confirmation of the removal.
What to do if the car has been removed
If the car has been removed, you have to contact a territorial Operational Unit of the Municipal Police from 8.00 to 20.00 and ask for the release sheet. If you need to get the release from 20.00 to 8.00 or on holidays, you can contact the Car Removal Unit located in Via S. Maria del Pianto.
Then you can contact the reference depository, pay the release and collect the vehicle by showing license, circulation card e insurance certificate.
