Rosario Paci, real name of the Sicilian artist, is a songwriter, trumpeter and Italian record producer that boasts musical collaborations with numerous international artists, known during his many travels around the world.
Among the prestigious meetings we recall that with Manu Chao, with whom he registered the lucky one Próxima estación: Esperanza, accompanying him on a world tour, but also Mau Mau, Samuele Bersani and Ivano Fossati.
His record production ranges between calypso rhythms, rocksteady, swing e caraibici, interpretations of new songs and rearrangements in a jazz key of classics of the Sicilian tradition.
In the 2000 years he founded the Etnagigante record label and forms the Roy Paci & Aretuska group, of ska / jazz orientation. Success comes with the single Toda Joia Toda Beleza, which became a summer catchphrase in “itañol”, in which the Spanish grammar is adapted to Italian and to music, to guarantee a certain sonority.
They also participated in music, film, television and benefits projects and received important awards.
