Between music and dancing, at Castello del Lago we celebrate good food and agricultural traditions with the farmers' festival and the 2016 brazza!
Summer is the perfect season for table lovers: between festivals and village festivals there is only the embarrassment of choice. The weekend of And July 30 31 2016 the opportunity to enjoy good food and have fun is given by Sagra Contadina and Braciata, organized for the Hague Festival a Castle of the Lake, in the Avellino area.
Thanks to a photographic exhibition and the exhibition of tools of peasant civilization, it will be possible to rediscover the ancient rural traditions of Irpinia. As in any self-respecting festival, many stands will offer local products. Among the specialties to taste, laine and ciceri, meat 'e puorc', paparuli and local wine.
To complete the festivities there will be several folk re-enactments. Songs and traditional dances will be the setting for the parade of the cart pulled by oxen and to the reproduction of the ancient threshing.
