In Sant'Agata dei Goti the hanged caciocavallo festival will take place with music and entertainment!
From 16 at the 18 September 2016 there will be the Festival of hanged caciocavallo at the sports field of Sant'Agata dei Goti, in Capitone.

A gastronomic appointment to free admission during which you can taste numerous traditional local dishes and the famous caciocavallo called "hanged" for the type of cooking with which it is produced. The cheese, in fact, undergoes a slow cooking on the grill during which he remains dangling on the fire, attached to his rope, about thirty centimeters in height.
The festival will not only concern gastronomy but will offer a lot entertainment for young and old: animated evenings, folk dances with ballroom dancing and group dances, play area for children, various craft stands and live music with the musical group “Born by chance”.
Parking will not be a problem because there will be a ample parking and indoor places. On Sunday the stands will also be open at lunchtime starting at 13:00.
