Ad Acerno, Salerno, the authenticity of the autumn flavors with the 46th Chestnut and undergrowth products festival. This event, rooted in tradition and eagerly awaited, will take place on November 11 and 12, 2023, immersing visitors in the food and wine and cultural riches of the area.

The event is a triumph of autumn flavors: visitors can savor the roasted chestnuts and toast with Local wine offered free of charge. The menu is enriched with a variety of typical undergrowth products, including mushrooms and berries, which are the basis of traditional dishes, expertly interpreted by local chefs.

November 11, Saturday:

07:30 – “Truffle hunting” excursion (information and reservations: 327 2115398).
16:00 – Opening of stand and start of tasting of typical products; 11th edition of the "largest chestnut in Acerno" competition.
17:30 – Free distribution of roasted chestnuts and wine.
18:00 – Lighting the bonfire.
20:00 – Performance of the itinerant popular musical group “Montemarano”.

November 12, Sunday:

10:00 – Stand opening, tasting of typical products and competition; musical entertainment with the Juppa Vitale Musical Band.
11:00 – Free distribution of roasted chestnuts and wine.
11:30 – Guided walks “Walking around Acerno” (booking at the Pro Loco stand).
12:00 – Horse parade organized by “Acerno in Sella”.
15:00 – Opening of stands, tasting of typical products, games organized by the Parish of Santa Maria degli Angeli.
17:00 – Performance of the itinerant folk group “I Zompa Cardillo”.
18:00 – Lighting the bonfire.
19:30 – Brigand episodes from the Nardantuono saga, presented by the Pro Loco of Olevano S/T.
20:00 – Popular music with an Itinerant Folk Group and award ceremony for the “largest chestnut in Acerno”.
