The wait is renewed for this year as well Eggplant Festival which will take place from Friday 21 to Monday 24 July 2023 a Santa Maria La Carità, a town in the province of Naples. It is undoubtedly the most important event of the Sammaritan July, an event loved by all citizens which celebrates the aubergine.
The event will take place starting at 20:00 at the Stadio Comunale, where various stands have been set up to welcome the various specialties. The Sammaritan housewives, in collaboration with the various local restaurants, will cook the eggplant in different ways to satisfy all palates and to let guests discover new flavors and recipes.
The products to be tasted at the Festival
There will be many dishes that you can taste at the Stadio Comunale di Santa Maria La Carità on the occasion of the Aubergine Festival 2023. In particular, there will be appetizers, first courses, main courses and side dishes, and finally i desserts. Obviously everything will be based on aubergines and will be accompanied by the excellent local wine.
Among these products will be:
- Zuccotto of aubergines
- Chocolate eggplant
- Aniseed aubergines
