Local flavors, guided tours and fun at the original 2016 chocolate eggplant festival in Maiori!
The 7 and 8 August 2016 the city of Maiori, on the Amalfi coast, will organize the Chocolate eggplant festival.
The food and wine event will offer the best and traditional local dishes accompanied by good country wine. Among the many delicacies can not miss the renowned chocolate eggplant parmigiana, prepared with candied fruit and a creamy chocolate sauce that will delight even the most skeptical palate regarding this unusual culinary combination.
The vegetable will be the protagonist of several exquisite dishes made with the recipes of Mayorese housewives, such as i homemade fusilli alla Norma and disk with mozzarella. Alternatively, you can opt for a sandwich menu, in which the dishes will stuff the soft bread.
