Gnocco Festival with Porcini Mushrooms of Teano in July 2023

It comes back to life, after a long arrest of three years caused by the global health crisis, the famous feast of the palate known as “Gnocco Festival with Porcini Mushrooms". THE'edition number 15 of the event is scheduled from 19 to 23 July 2023, and will take place at Furnolo, a fraction of the municipality of Theano, in the province of Caserta.

What do you eat at the festival

five consecutive nights, participants will have the opportunity to savor a rich variety of appetizing and authentic dishes, prepared with typical local products. Among these, a special mention goes to the protagonists of the party: the gnocchi with porcini mushrooms. These delicious gnocchi, rigorously handmade, are combined with porcini mushrooms picked directly from the woods surrounding Furnolo. Other culinary specialties will tickle the palate, evoking the flavors and aromas of the past.

Shows and other activities

But the festival is not limited only to taste. It also promises divertissement and entertainment. For five consecutive evenings, the music and dances will liven up Furnolo, transforming the coolness of the hills and the atmosphere of the village into a lively stage. This event is organized by Our Lady of the Assumption Celebration Committee, which is committed to making each edition an unforgettable experience.
