The 2017 Sagra Sansilvestrese will be held in San Silvestro, a hamlet of Sant'Agata dei Goti, between regional cuisine and agricultural traditions.
From 4 to 6 August 2017 to New Year's Eve, a fraction of Sant'Agata dei Goti, will host the twenty-second edition of the Sansilvestrese Festival which has as its purpose to recall the ancient flavors giving visitors the opportunity to visit a beautiful exhibition of agricultural tools from past eras.
The festival then consists of three different sectors: there will be the stands where visitors can taste the typical dishes from the rural tradition like fresh pasta, every different evening, or homemade desserts made entirely from local products at kilometer zero, exhibition of vintage agricultural machinery which will be put into action in the final evening for a demonstration of ancient farming techniques. Finally, every evening there will be musical or comedy shows.
The event will be held in a covered tensile structure so there will be no problems related to any adverse weather.

Menu of the festival
With 12 €, sum that will be entirely devolved at the Parish of San Silvestro Papa, it will be possible to taste the complete menu consisting of:
- appetizer of cold cuts
- Bruschetta
- stuffed pepper
- first course of fresh pasta
- second choice of meat or the fantastic "carn and puparoul"
- boundary
- homemade sweets
- homemade bread and Aglianico and Falanghina wines.
