After the holidays, the period of the Christmas markets ends, but the Festivals in Campania continue with some events not to be missed.

Like every year, the famous is repeated Porchetta Festival of Sant'Antonio Abate and we cannot fail to taste the dishes prepared for the occasion.

In Salerno, however, there are wine tastings of quality labels.

The Porchetta Festival in Sant'Antonio Abate in Naples: program

Great party in Sant'Antonio Abate in the province of Naples with the porchetta fair also full of shows, with Sal Esposito and Monica Sarnelli in concert and also a dance show. All with the Gulf of Salerno as a backdrop.

“Portoni, Matassa e Suon” in Campagna (SA)

A nice event where you can visit the stately doors of Campagna and the international as well as workshops in the streets of the historic centre.
In Piazza Palatucci you can taste some traditional dishes such as skeins and beans, expensive and the hanged cheese.
Here's the schedule:
Friday January 13
  • From 15.30 guided tour to discover the city of Campagna.
  • From 19pm to 22pm guided tour (at 15 minute intervals) to the Museum of Memory – “Giovanni Palatucci” Study Centre.
  • At 19:30 "Laboratory of production and use of compost tea in agriculture" by Massimo Zaccardelli
  • At 20:00 "The Campania AgroBiodiversity project (ABC) and the Network Agreement" by Massimo Zaccardelli and Rosa Pepe
  • At 21:00 musical concert in Piazza Palatucci by Tammorrasìa Musica Popolare.
Saturday January 14
  • At 10 am in the Gelsomino D'Ambrosio room there will be the award ceremony "50 years of the Pro Loco Città di Campagna" with the awarding of all the Presidents who have succeeded one another in our association from 1971 to today. And there will also be the award ceremony of the "Poetry Competition". Some students of the Liceo Musicale “T. Confalonieri” – Campagna will brighten the event during the morning.
  • From 15.30 guided tour to discover the city of Campagna.
  • From 18.00 AperiScacchi at the headquarters of the Campagna Chess Association.
  • From 19pm to 22pm guided tour (at 15 minute intervals) of the Museum of Memory – Centro Studi “Giovanni Palatucci”.
  • At 21 pm musical concert in Piazza Palatucci by the FruitJoy Big Band.
Sunday January 15
  • At 9.00 meeting and training table: plenary of the network of associations and projects Fili di Straw Network of associations, realities and people and conference on the sustainability of food in the “Gelsomino D'Ambrosio” room.
  • At 13 pm “Plastic Free” shared lunch in Piazza Palatucci organized by the Fili di Paglia association.
  • At 13 pm musical concert in Piazza Palatucci dei Vienteterra.
  • From 15.30 guided tour to discover the city of Campagna.
  • From 19pm to 22pm guided tour (at 15 minute intervals) of the Museum of Memory – Centro Studi “Giovanni Palatucci”.
  • At 21 pm musical concert in Piazza Palatucci dei Vienteterra.
