Valentine's Day in Naples 2015 | The Night of Lovers

On February 14, 2015 Naples will turn into the city of love, including shows, guided tours and extraordinary museum openings until late in the evening!

Valentine's Day is just a week away, and the city of Naples is preparing to come alive with events dedicated to love. As we previously mentioned , the City of Naples has created, like last year, a festival in collaboration with students from the Academy of Fine Arts, entitled Lovers' Night of Naples.

The Valentine's Day celebration will be a widespread event that will include initiatives of all kinds, with love as the common denominator.

The program of the Lovers' Night in Naples will involve, in total, around 60 locations and will offer 13 itineraries , to discover and rediscover the beauties of our city from ever new points of view, and will include:

• guided tours and thematic itineraries in the artistic and monumental places of Naples
• extraordinary openings of museums until late in the evening with discounts and promotions for couples
• initiatives on the subject of love organized in churches, libraries, art galleries and museums
• theater show
• events on the road

But that's not all. Valentine's Day in Naples will also be a celebration of culture and books, with a series of readings and events organized in selected bookstores , including presentations of romance novels and readings with actors and authors who will discuss, as a couple, the book that inspired them to read.

Among the bookstores involved and other "literary" places: Pisanti, Io ci sto, Ubik, Feltrinelli (Piazza dei Martiri), Marotta and Cafiero, Evaluna, Healthy, Archeobar, Spazio Guida, Berisio, Libreria Scarlatti, PAN, Biblioteca Annalisa Durante in Piazza Forcella, La bottega delle parole, Biblioteca Flora, National Library of Naples.
