On February 14, 2015 Naples will turn into the city of love, including shows, guided tours and extraordinary museum openings until late in the evening!
Valentine's day is in a week, and the city of Naples is preparing to come alive with events in the name of Love. As we have already anticipated, the Municipality of Naples has created, as last year, a kermesse in collaboration with the students of the Academy of Fine Arts, entitled Night of the lovers of Naples.
The manifestation of Valentine's day will consist of a widespread event which will include initiatives of all kinds, of which love will be the common denominator.
The program of the kermesse Night of the lovers of Naples it will involve, in total, approximately 60 places and will propose 13 itineraries, to discover and rediscover the beauties of our city from ever new points of view, and will include:
- guided tours and thematic itineraries in the artistic and monumental places of Naples
- extraordinary openings of museums until late in the evening with discounts and promotions for couples
- initiatives on the subject of love organized in churches, libraries, art galleries and museums
- theater show
- events on the road
But that is not all. Valentine's Day in Naples will also be hunger for culture and books with a series of readings and appointments organized in some libraries, such as presentations of love books and readings with actors and authors who “as a couple” will talk about their first love book that started them reading.
Among libraries involved and other "literary" places: Pisanti, Io ci sto, Ubik, Feltrinelli (piazza dei Martiri), Marotta and Cafiero, Evaluna, Healthy, Archeobar, Spazio Guida, Berisio, Libreria Scarlatti, PAN, Biblioteca Annalisa Durante in Piazza Forcella, La workshop of words, Flora Library, National Library of Naples.
