The Scalata del Vesuvio is the foot race that reaches the top of the volcano and will give a breathtaking view

After a long break, the Scalata del Vesuvio is back, the uphill race up to the symbolic volcano of Naples.

The running race it will also be a memorial wished and organized by Erco Sport and by the family of Domenico D'Agostino, one of the recently deceased exponents.

At the event they can participate 300 athletes, by paying an entry fee of € 5.
The first 50 male athletes and the first 15 women who will cross the finish line will be rewarded with a bottle, and the first three classified in the 60/65/70 master categories.

The climb, which is quite tiring, offers one at the arrival on Vesuvius breathtaking panoramic view. With the look you can photograph the wonderful Gulf of Naples, the Sorrento peninsula, the legendary islands of Ischia, Capri and Procida.

The Vesuvius itself represents a lovely natural landscape since it welcomes a dense and lush changing vegetation composed of domestic pines and a mesophile wood, which vaporises the air with chestnut essences, Neapolitan alder, mixed with the sulfur smell of the crater. A fresh breath of regenerating air for both the body and the mind.

Soon we will provide you with the complete program of the event.
