EAV strike Friday 7 July, Circumvesuviana and Cumana
On July 7, 2023, the commuters of Naples may experience some inconvenience.
The union OR.SA has announced a four-hour strike, from 9:00 to 13:00, to protest against the EAV, the company that manages public transport in the region.
In no time, just during the morning of July 7th, EAV communicated that in addition to the 4-hour strike will be accompanied by a 24-hour strike of the OS CONFAIL-FAISA, previously not disclosed by the company.
The reasons for the strike
The OR.SA union has declared that the strike it is an attempt to make EAV management understand that they cannot consider themselves above the rules.
The reasons for the strike include related issues staff working hours administration, the use of newly appointed station chiefs, the declassification of the authorized stations, the work shifts of the personnel assigned to the gates, the overtime shifts and the economic competences.
The strike will impact various transport services operated by the EAV.
