Io Dalì exhibition: three-dimensional art, paintings, drawings, photos and videopearances

The central nucleus of the exhibition, around which everything turns, are i masterpieces of the late 60s and all the 70s, those who saw him confront the search for the third dimension, anticipating what we now know as 3D.

There are stereoscopic works that show us the painting in three dimensions, paintings that can be admired with the use of specific equipment that enhance the three-dimensional effects.

There will also be the magnificent photographs taken by Philippe Helsman and featuring the famous mustache of Dali. In some shots he is posing, in others he is immortalized during moments of his daily life. these are images that make us understand even more how the Spanish artist, through his distinctive features such as mustache and wide eyes, wants to make the eternal image of him.

In the exhibition at the PAN, it will be possible to see, above all, above all paintingsdrawings and photographs, but there will be more films and videos that will show Dali's way of working and how he loved use the media as performative act, as very powerful means for self-staging. They are also considered fundamental means of storytelling. The exhibition allows you, therefore, to admire his frequent forays into the media, from magazine covers to participation, as a guest, in television programs and competitions.

The exhibition was commissioned by the Municipality of Naples with the Department of Culture and Tourism, the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí and was co-organized with COR Create Organize Realize.
