The ancient and sumptuous church of San Paolo will host the Sorrento Piano Festival 2015, with classical music concerts
From April to June 2015, the ancient and sumptuous St Paul's Church will host the Sorrento Piano Festival 2015, a music festival with a dense program of classical music concerts, to free entry (subject to availability), whose protagonist will be the piano.
The event will be characterized by various and interesting events that will take place exclusively in the weekends. Participants will be able to attend and listen to the sweet sound of the piano, both in a solo and chamber key, up to the role of accompanist of voices and instruments. Pianists will be exceptional performers of the new and old generation, playing a repertoire of classical music really exciting.
The artistic director of the event is the great Maestro Paolo Scibili with the organization of the Sorrento Concerts Company and the A.Gi.Mus., in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, the Campania Region, the City of Sorrento, the Autonomous Tourist Office, Federalberghi Penisola Sorrentina, Cura Archbishop Sorrento C.mmare di Stabia, Parish SS. Filippo and Giacomo Sorrento.

- 24 April, at 20.45, with Sebastiano Brusco, will propose pieces by Beethoven, Mozart and Chopin
- 1 may sacred music in the church of the SS. Felice and Baccolo, in via Tasso, with Francis Holland School Choir
- 2 May, 20.45 hours, in the St Paul's Church, Opera and Chamber Aries featuring the soprano Antonia EM Palazzo and pianist Paolo Scibilia
- 8 may, at 20.45, in the Church of San Paolo, with the performance of Flavio Belardo, which will propose music by Bach, Beethoven and Chopin
- 22 May, at 20.45 pm, in the Church of San Paolo: The Solo Piano, with pianist Luca Borzillo
- Friday 5 June, at 20,45 in the Church of San Paolo: The solo piano, Giovanni Vellutti
- Friday 19 June, at 20,45 pm in the Church of San Paolo: The solo piano, Giovanni Vece
