In Sorrento charity evening with a challenge to make a 100 meter pizza!
Il 5 April 2016, the historical center of Sorrento will host the event "La Via della Pizza" in which nine expert pizza chefs will make a pizza of well 100 meters long. An entire street will turn into a path made of tasty Neapolitan pizza.
The participating chefs are Flavio Francesco Gargiulo, Enrico Esposito, Valerio Iessi, Mario Montefusco, Alfredo Graziano, Giovanni Afeltra, Francesco Ercole, Raffaele Vicedomini and Michele Sorrentino who have joined the challenge for beneficial reasons.
Thanks to proceeds of the eveningin fact it will be purchased a defibrillator to be installed in a public place in the center of Sorrento, which will be indispensable in the event of a cardiological emergency.
In addition to the inviting gastronomic aspect, the event will also include a fun entertainment and a playful animation for children. The initiative is carried out by the Department of Territorial Marketing and Commerce of the Municipality, led by Massimo Coppola, with the collaboration of the Re Food restaurant, Ascom-Confcommercio and the Youth Forum.
