Elio will perform at the Teatro Augusteo in Naples "Spamalot" taken from the Monty Python film "Monty Python and the Holy Grail".
26 from January to February 4 2018 the show will be staged at the Augusteo theater in Naples Spamalot with the participation of Elio.
Spamalot is the adaptation of the musical inspired by the cult film of the 1975 «Monty Python and the Holy Grail» of the famous group of British comedians directed by Claudio Insegno. The show was curated by Rocco Tanica, historical member of the Elio group and Le Storie Tese who has included in the show several easter eggs as a tribute to the group as the song Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, a classic based on the film Brian of Nazareth.
Extraordinary cast where, in addition to Elio who plays King Arthur, appear Pamela Lacerenza (Dama del Lago), Andrea Spina (Sir Galahad) and Umberto Noto (Sir Robin), as well as an ensemble of 8 actors-dancers, all accompanied by 10 musicians directed by Angelo Racz and with choreography by Valeriano Longoni.
“Spamalot” is therefore a musical and at the same time a parody of the saga of King Arthur and his knights in search of the Holy Grail: King Arthur, after wandering through Britain, in search of brave knights for his round table, receives from God in person the difficult mission of finding the Holy Grail. Thus begins the difficult search for the 'Santa Cup', which will be the pretext for turning out a roundup of gags, comedians, bizarre ballets and hilarious songs.
