Sponz Fest 2019: from Vinicio Capossela a week of concerts, performances, projections, theater and trekking
From 19 to 25 August a Calitri and its surroundings the seventh edition of Sponz Fest, the traveling concert festival conceived and promoted by Vinicio Capossela.
One of the themes of this "episode" 2019 is "Sottaterra" sottaterra it is the "place of fertility, of collective memory, of roots, an indispensable premise for social regeneration".
It is underground, in other words, that according to Vinicio Capossela the energies need to be sought to renew a world destroyed by unbridled individualism and now devoted to an almost unconscious one self destruction social and environmental.
The other fires of this edition are the plague and ritual crying. The plague as a deadly and moral disease of the modern world, the ritual crying as a way to recover the energies necessary for a possible rebirth.
Il Party as said it will have its center in Calitri, but will also affect the municipalities of Cairano, Lacedonia, Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi, Senerchia and Villamaina.
It will be a week of music, ,, performance, readings, screenings, trekking and bike tours, happenings and workshops for children.
Among the protagonists must be remembered at least: Almamegretta, Ars nova Napoli, Enzo Avitabile & Bottari, chef Rubio, Clan H, Livio Cori, Flaminia Cruciani, Grazia Di Michele and Goffredo Fofi, but there will be many others.
