As already mentioned a few days ago, the Government plan on the gradual relaxation of restrictions anti-Covid also provides for the return of stadium capacity to 100%.

In fact, capacity from 1 April 2022 will go back to being al 100% in outdoor stadiums, therefore naturally also in all structures that host Serie A matches and those of the national team, while in indoor arenas it will be 75%.

Furthermore, the Green Pass will no longer be requested for outdoor sporting events, again from April 1st.

At least these are the government hypotheses that should become reality soon, but the FIGC (Italian Football Federation) has asked for a derogation for the next match of Italy.

The derogation for the Italy match

Il 24 March there will be the semifinal of the World Cup playoffs between Italy and North Macedonia, which will be played in Palermo, and for that occasion the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza agreed with the idea of grant 100% capacity, so well before April 1st.

If the provision is also signed by Undersecretary Valentina Vezzali, who owns the derogation, then everything would be confirmed.
