The review General States of the Sea 2017 in Naples offers a rich program dedicated to the sea between water sports, ancient flavors, exhibitions and guided tours.
Will start in October 2017 and will continue until the end of November 2017 the event organized by the Municipality, General States of the 2017 Sea in Naples, which will offer a rich program of free events in which the sea will be the absolute protagonist.
The event, through the offer of seminars, conferences, sporting, artistic and recreational activities, aims to promote the rediscovery and enhancement of the sea, intended both as a resource and as an attraction.
The program of the event presents numerous proposals suitable for everyone and in various locations of the city. Sunday October 8
Spiaggia delle Monache, via Posillipo 357, Naples
Course of marine environmental education for 20 children or adults, with laboratory experiences, analysis of all the species present along the shoreline of the coast, analyze the relationship with the sea highlighting the problems that the anthropic activities have created at sea.
Monday October 9
Circolo Posillipo, via Posillipo 5, Naples

A kayak ride along the Posillipo coast with the assistance of a qualified instructor.

The Mooring Group of the Port of Naples will exhibit the mooring / battening-pilotage and port towing services with demonstration of the activities and analysis of the mooring phases.

Monitoring of the water surface at the Diaz roundabout with dissemination of environmental activities and distribution of ashtrays from a sea-saving pocket near the pedestrian area of Via Partenope (corner of Piazza Vittoria).

Visit by reservation on board the m / n Vettoria, oceanographic boat of the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station used for scientific research. It will be possible to view the instrumentation used by the researchers.

Canoe and kayak rally, with free path and open to everyone from Lido Sirena to Villa Lauro.

Recreational fishing event "Pesca un Sorriso" with companies in the sector to raise funds for the oncology department of the Pediatric Hospital Santobono-Pausilipon.

First week of November
The Fin organizes courses of Safety at Sea and the free Swimming Lessons carried out by qualified personnel.

Visit the sections for rowing, canoeing and kayaking, with illustrations of the equipment and boats. Basic techniques and start both amateur and competitive.
Tests on simulator (Canoeing and Rowing).
Try in the tank (Rowing).

Instructors will explain how to maintain balance on skates and how to perform the basic figures of figure skating through games and skill courses
