In fact, you can also pay using your own debit card connected to the PagoBancomat circuit, then through the contactless payment system you can activate your ticket by bringing your card close to the terminals enabled in the stations.
Also, if you need to make multiple trips during the day, the system will count tap made by the cardholder, so that you can automatically pay the cheaper rate on the basis of the movements of the day and the incoming and outgoing stations. Obviously, the possibility of buying a paper ticket is always valid.
The Tap & Go system
Recall that the mode was already active Tap & Go thanks to which you can cross the turnstiles simply by placing your credit card or debit card on the reader and then carry out what is called tap in, at the exit the same thing must be repeated, in this case carrying out the Tap Out.
The system will automatically choose the most convenient ticket for the route concerned, but remember that to tap in and tap out it is necessary to use the same card, otherwise two different trips will be considered.
Valid cards are American Express, MasterCard, Maestro and Visa.
