The Steve McCurry exhibition at the PAN in Naples with famous and unpublished shots by the master of contemporary photography!
Il PAN of Naples will host one of the most anticipated exhibitions of the year, that of master of contemporary photography Steve McCurry and he will do it from the 28 October 2016 (inauguration of the 27) at 12 February 2017.
A photographic exhibition that will not only allow us to admire his most famous shots and those that are most representative of his art, but which also wants to underline the focal point of his activity as a committed photographer without borders. And just Without Borders is the title of this long exhibition.
Steve McCurry's photographs that have been chosen by the Palace of Arts will tell us about it the history of contemporary man forced to live in suffering, in war, in a raw and cruel world: a narrative that crosses many ethnic groups and cultures and that reaches very high levels of pain and empathy, which bring the heart and soul of both the subjects who find themselves closer together. in front of the lens of both who is behind the camera.
Each photograph of the master contains one complex world of experiences and emotions and in this exhibition will be exposed both some of them most famous photos of his career, shots that we can not not know, both photos of the his latest works and photos not yet published. An excellent opportunity to observe our world from another point of view.
On 27 October there will be the inauguration at PAN in the morning with the press preview, while in the afternoon there will be a public meeting with the photographer in the Sala dei Baroni del Maschio Angioino. McCurry will be interviewed by Roberto Cotroneo. The meeting is open to all subject to availability.
