Strike in Naples no Green Pass, the latest updates

Today 15 October 2021 Italy appears to be a paralysis risk total due to the announcements strikes and no Green Pass demonstrations. The day was not chosen at random because the October 15 the obligation for all workers is triggered of the public and private sectors to exhibit the Green Pass in the workplace, an initiative that did not please many.

The demonstrations concern above all dockers and road hauliers that threaten to block activities in several cities.

Ports of Naples and Salerno

A Naples there are no demonstrations of some kind. There are no inconveniences at the Port of Naples or strikes due to the Green Pass obligation and the situation appears to be controlled. There most of the Port workers are vaccinated , as confirmed by the category codes, and is therefore in possession of the Green Certification.

In this morning even in Salerno there are no protests, there are only delays and queues at the entrance to some companies only due to the slowness of the readers who check the Green Pass.

ANM and EAV: the transport situation

As for transport in Naples between metro lines 1 and 2, cumana and circumvesuviana, there are no delays, suspensions or cancellations. Employees regularly went to work presenting the Green Pass.

The Green Pass requirement on all workplaces

As mentioned, from 15 October all workers, both those of the public sector and those of the private sector, they will have to be in possession of the Green Pass.

This certification has long since entered our life and we have to exhibit it to go to the cinema, theater, stadium and restaurants. From today the obligation is also extended to the workplace, as required by the latest decree approved by the Council of Ministers on September 16 and from that moment it has even been renamed Super Green Passes.

The Green Pass, thus, in the objectives of the Government, becomes even more one tool to facilitate the safe circulation of people during these pandemic periods because it certifies having received the anti-Covid vaccine, having carried out a negative swab or having been cured from Covid in the last 6 months.

The validity of the Green Pass

How long does the Green Pass last? there all valid cases:

in the case of the first dose of a vaccine that includes two, the Green Pass is valid from the 15th day from the administration to the next;
in cases of a complete vaccination course, so if you have received the second dose or the single-dose vaccine, it is worth 270 days, ie about 9 months;
in the case of a negative swab, it is worth 72 hours if the buffer is molecular and 48 hours if the test is antigenic;
if you are cured of Covid, the Green Pass is valid for 180 days, ie about 6 months.
