The special event of the. returns with a new appointment Tableaux Vivants at the Donnaregina Museum in Naples, a truly evocative show that will take place starting from 15 October 2023.
All art and theater enthusiasts, but also those who have never witnessed this show, are invited to participate to experience it a truly unique emotion and a show with great emotional impact.
In fact, during the evening, right under the attentive and curious eyes of the spectators, professional actors will bring to life 23 paintings by the great Caravaggio and works of art by Artemisia Gentileschi.
Art, theater and emotion with the Tableaux Vivants
The actors, on the stage set up in Donnaregina Museum of Naples, with their bodies they will give life to the timeless works of the great artist Michelangelo Merisi, known to most as Caravaggio.
They will be used draped fabrics and everyday objects to recompose the paintings. The stage will be lit by a single beam of light and the actors will transform into a real living work of art, without moving or speaking for the entire duration of the scene. To make everything even more evocative there will be music by Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi, Sibellius in the background.
Even the paintings of the very famous Artemisia Gentileschi, the first female painter in history, will be represented by actors.

They will bring Caravaggio's paintings to life on the following dates: October 15th at 10am; November 30th at 19:12; December 00th at 17am; December 10th 30pm -28pm.
While the performances of Artemisia Gentileschi's paintings will take place on the following days: October 15 at 12:00; November 19 at 10:30 am; December 17th at 12:00.
