Evocative Tableaux Vivants inspired by the artist Degas al Museum of Pietrarsa of Naples!

The April 15 2018 you can watch the show of the Tableaux Vivants on the works of the artist Edgard Degas al Pietrarsa Museum in Naples.

In the unusual setting of the railway museum, thanks to the eighteenth-century technique of the Tableaux vivants, dei so-called living pictures, eight of the most famous works of the French Impressionist painter and sculptor will be represented.

The paintings will come to life through the performances by actors and dancers, with a touching musical background, which will impersonate the subjects painted by Degas, telling step by step his artistic evolution.

The bodies will be floating as if they were come out of the canvas to tell us the story of their artistic creation and their role in the landscape painted in detail.

A realistic and suggestive representation that has already been very successful for its expressive originality.
