The managing body of the Naples ring road has recently announced that new closures will be implemented which will limit vehicular traffic during the night, in particular after 22pm or 00pm.
These measures have been taken in order to facilitate the carrying out of major maintenance work and the implementation of targeted interventions to solve various problems along the ring road. The main objective of these closures is to secure a safe working environment and favor the complete performance of the necessary activities.
The choice of schedule closures at night aims to limit the inconvenience for daytime traffic by allowing people to use the ring road during daylight hours, when most travel occurs.
Camaldoli / Arenella-Hospital area
When: from 23,00 pm on 5, 6, 7 and 8 June 2023 to 6,00 am on the following days and from 24,00 pm on 9 June 2023 to 6,00 am on the following day
The "Camaldoli/Arenella-Zona Ospedaliera" motorway section will be closed in the direction of the motorways with the consequent obligatory exit "Camaldoli" in the direction of the motorways (for vehicles coming from Pozzuoli it is possible to return to the "Arenella" entrance junction with an alternative route: via Gabriele Jannelli, via Simone Martini, via Arenella, via Giotto, Piazza Medaglie D'Oro, via Giuseppe Orsi, via Giacinto Gigante, via Marino and Cotronei) and the "Camaldoli" entrance junction towards the motorways (for vehicles coming from the ordinary, alternative entrance recommended "Arenella").
Corso Malta in the direction of Pozzuoli
When: from 23,00 pm on 12, 14 and 15 June 2023 to 6,00 am on the following days
The "Corso Malta" entrance junction in the direction of Pozzuoli will be closed (for vehicles coming from the ordinary road network and the SS132/Dir., the alternative entrance "Capodichino/airport" is recommended).
"Arenella" entrance junction
When: from 23,00 pm on 12 June 2023 to 6,00 am the following day
The "Arenella" entrance junction will be closed in both directions (for vehicles coming from ordinary roads, the alternative "Camaldoli" entrance is recommended).
Camaldoli / Arenella-Hospital area
When: from 23,00 pm on 13 and 15 June 2023 to 6,00 am on the following days and from 24,00 pm on 16 June 2023 to 6,00 am on the following day

The "Zona Ospedaliera/Camaldoli" motorway section in the direction of Pozzuoli will be closed with the consequent obligatory exit "Zona Ospedaliera" in the direction of Pozzuoli (for vehicles coming from the motorways, it is possible to return to the "Camaldoli" entrance junction with an alternative route: via Pietravalle , via S. Pansini, via D. Montesano, via G. Jannelli and the entrance junction in the direction of “Arenella” (for vehicles coming from the ordinary road system, the alternative entrance “Camaldoli” is recommended).
Vomero/Arenella-Hospital Area
When: from 23,00 pm on 14 June 2023 to 6,00 am the following day
The "Vomero/Arenella-Zona Ospedaliera" motorway section will be closed in the direction of the motorways with the consequent obligatory exit "Vomero" in the direction of the motorways (for vehicles coming from Pozzuoli it is possible to return to the "Arenella" entrance junction with an alternative route: via G De Ruggiero, via Omodeo, via Pigna, via Simone Martini, via Arenella, via Giotto, P.zza Medaglie d'oro, via G. Orsi, via Giacinto Gigante, via Marino and Cotronei) and the entrance junctions "Vomero ” and “Camaldoli” in the direction of the motorways (for vehicles coming from the ordinary road network, the recommended alternative entrance is “Arenella”).
"Arenella" exit in the direction of Pozzuoli
When: from 23,00 pm on 14 June 2023 to 6,00 am the following day
The "Arenella" exit in the direction of Pozzuoli will be closed (for vehicles coming from the motorways, the alternative exit "Zona Ospedaliera" is recommended).
