Teatro San Carlo in Naples for Ukraine, fundraising for refugees with the proceeds of the show

even the San Carlo Theater of Naples joins the initiatives that have been created to support the Ukrainian people for the tragic situation they are experiencing after the invasion of their territory by Russia.

The Neapolitan theater has thus organized for Thursday 10 March 2022 a good initiative, or the collection of ballet by George Balanchine and Kenneth MacMillan, Entitled "The Masters of the twentieth century", it will be completely donated to war refugees from Ukraine.

The appointment is for the hours 21:00 and is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Naples, the Italian Red Cross committee in Naples and the Consulate General of Ukraine in Naples.

In short, a very special gesture that joins all the others that the citizens of Naples and all of Campania are implementing to help these people.

Also the dancer of the corps de ballet of the San Carlo Theater, Karina Samoylenko, born from a Ukrainian mother and a Russian father, through his social networks thanked the Theater and the superintendent Stéphane Lissner, for the wonderful initiative and launched his appeal for peace and solidarity.
